A Tale of Two Blondes: Jerry Hall and Daughter Georgia May Jagger Bring Glamour to Paris
Paris Fashion Week welcomed two generations of blonde bombshell glamour as model and actress Jerry Hall and her daughter, model Georgia May Jagger, reunited on the front row of Chloé’s Fall/Winter 2024-2025 ready-to-wear show. The mother-daughter duo brought their signature bohemian-chic style to the City of Light, looking tres chic indeed.
Hall, 68, exuded sophistication in a tan trench coat cinched at the waist, which she paired with knee-high brown leather boots – proving that some things do get better with age. “Mum’s really excited because they have shoes in her size – she’s got quite big feet!” quipped Jagger, 31. Ever the quintessential French fashionista, Hall toted a croissant-shaped handbag in caramel leather, keeping her beauty look simple with a sparkling smoky eye and blonde waves.
Jagger, meanwhile, embodied biker-babe coolness with a black leather moto jacket cut short as a minidress, which she toughened up with towering wedge booties. The younger Hall slipped on some silver thumb rings and a nameplate necklace for added edge, wearing her bleach blonde hair long and straight in a nod to her mum’s signature style.
The duo took their front-row seats next to an equally stylish bunch, including actress Kiernan Shipka and legendary mother-daughter models Pat and Anna Cleveland. After greeting passersby with air kisses, they geared up for the much-anticipated show featuring Chloé’s newest creative director, Gabriela Hearst.
While Hall and Jagger have always bonded over their mutual love of fashion, Jagger noted her mother definitely skews “more on the glam side.” Over the years, the model has inherited several showstopping vintage pieces from her mum’s archives, including Vivienne Westwood frocks, Thierry Mugler suits, and Yves Saint Laurent ensembles dating back to the 1970s.
This practice of reusing and repurposing clothes certainly ties into Chloé’s eco-conscious mission under Hearst’s watch. “It’s funny because I don’t think about it [that much] but people always talk about how me wearing my mum’s clothes that she wore 30 years ago is a way of being sustainable,” said Jagger. “We like to pass things around, with my sister [Elizabeth Jagger] and each other.”
Even when investing in new pieces, quality reigns supreme for both mother and daughter style icons. “Good quality lasts forever,” Hall remarked. “It’s timeless.”
After soaking up Chloé’s latest feminine-with-an-edge offerings, the duo planned to indulge in an apres-show shopping spree, solidifying their reign over Paris Fashion Week as fashion’s coolest mother-daughter team.
