A Game of Shows: Emilia Clarke Braves Paris Rain in Loewe
Emilia Clarke brought her signature joy and whimsy to the front row of Loewe’s Fall 2024 presentation on a characteristically dreary Paris Friday. Arriving amidst the wind and rain, the Game of Thrones star epitomized Parisian nonchalance in a leggy knit mini dress and camel trench coat.
Ever the style star, Clarke let her endless legs lead the way in a thigh-skimming gray dress that brought both coziness and vamp. With Loewe’s penchant for innovative knits, the tactile dress proved the perfect canvas for creative director Jonathan Anderson’s craft-centric ethos. Clarke then piled on a coat for extra insulation against the moody weather. The sand-hued topper enveloped the actress, its fur-lined interior and oversized lapels emphasizing her petite frame. Giving the trench a modish kick, black leather accents peppered the collar and cuffs.
Clarke finished the look with a pair of classic cream pumps – likely with a block heel, given the cobblestone streets. Though her legs took center stage, the actress’ beauty look proved equally exquisite. Her chestnut waves – windswept yet still camera-ready – framed a defined complexion, her emerald eyes extra dazzling against her camel coat. A swipe of cherry red lip lacquer added a burst of Parisian glam.
Joining Clarke in the front row was it-girl Alexa Chung, who brought her own brand of London cool to the Spanish fashion house. Her dewy complexion glowed against an oversized double-breasted blazer coat in rich chocolate brown. The British multi-hyphenate complemented the strong-shouldered topper with sparkling metallic heels and flowing brunette waves.
Rounding out the star-studded front row was French darling Eva Green, looked sophisticated in a long brown blazer jacket which she paired with some denim jeans and black heeled boots. she looked beside herself with excitement as she waved to fans upon arrival in a fashionable dark brown blazer coat. The 43-year-old accessorized the look with some funky black sunglasses as she kept the rest of her look casual with some jeans and a simple black top.
While the weather may have been less than ideal, the stylish trio brought the glamour regardless, proving that when it comes to Paris Fashion Week, the shows must go on. And if the preview proves indicative, audiences are in for a beautiful collection from Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson. Stay tuned for coverage of the much anticipated show.
