Goth Goddess: Lisa Rinna Stuns in Spiky Couture at the 2023 British Fashion Awards.
Lisa Rinna embraced her dark side at this year’s British Fashion Awards, gracing the red carpet in a spiked couture gown by emerging designer Chet Lo. Channeling grunge glamour, the 60-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum looked every inch the gothic goddess in the striking off-the-shoulder creation.
Rinna’s thorny ensemble featured a décolletage of dangerous spikes circling her neckline and trailing down the sleeves, while the voluminous skirt erupted into razor-sharp pleats. Diamond drop earrings and a pair of studded stiletto heels completed the look’s ornate embellishment.
The RHOBH star’s beauty look was just as eccentric, her jet black tresses gelled into gravity-defying spikes pointing every which way. A moody smokey eye, strong brows, contoured cheekbones, false lashes and a glossy nude pout accentuated her bone structure.
Posing alongside 25-year-old designer Lo on the red carpet, Rinna exuded confidence and edge. “I think it looks sexy and gorgeous and I love it,” Lo gushed to reporters, wrapping an arm around the reality star. “I did it, so I’m happy.” Rinna concurred – “F*** yes!” she enthused.
Later posting images of the look on social media, the mom-of-two gazed alluringly into the camera against the rain-soaked streets of London. “In the rain ☔️,” she captioned the Instagram post, drawing praise from friends, family and fans. Daughter Delilah Belle Hamlin compared her mom to the fashionable and eccentric Moira Rose from Schitt’s Creek, while celebrity hairstylist Pete Burkill simply wrote: “She didn’t come to play…slay 🔥.”
No stranger to high fashion moments, Rinna has been leaning into darker aesthetics as of late. Just last September she attended the Courrèges show during Paris Fashion Week, rocking severe, slicked-back hair with an equally severe cutout dress and leather thigh-high boots.
With this latest ensemble, Rinna proves her fashion credentials while highlighting an exciting new design talent. Chet Lo may be just starting out, but his spine-tingling, avant-garde creations are sure to make their mark.
