Jenna Dewan is pregnant! Jenna Dewan is ready to step up her family by welcoming baby number three.
In an affectionate Instagram post that melted hearts, actress and dancer Jenna Dewan shared that she is expecting her third child. The video depicts Dewan’s fiancé, Steve Kazee, tenderly singing and strumming his guitar while Dewan relaxes in a bubble bath, her baby bump just visible above the water and bubbles.
“Think if I make @stevekazee serenade me every night the baby will get his voice??” Dewan playfully asked in the caption. The heartwarming post radiates with the couple’s elation over this new addition to their family.
Dewan, 43, already shares two children with previous partners. Daughter Everly, 10, is from her former marriage with actor Channing Tatum. Son Callum, 3, is Dewan and Tony-winning actor Kazee’s first child together.
In the weeks leading up to her announcement, Dewan has shared lighthearted glimpses into her festive family life. Last December, she posted a behind-the-scenes look at the family’s humorous attempts at a Christmas card photo shoot. Despite a crying Callum and rambunctious dogs, the family persevered in capturing a sweet shot for the holidays.
The new pregnancy is the latest blessing in what has been an eventful few years for Dewan. In 2019, the actress announced her engagement to Kazee after first being spotted together in late 2018, a year following her separation from Tatum.
Professionally, Dewan has a slate of upcoming projects after recent appearances in “The Rookie” and “Resident.” The multi-hyphenate performer will showcase her dance prowess in the new dance competition “Come Dance With Me,” which she is executive producing and set to premiere on CBS later this year. Dewan told the outlet in an interview published Wednesday that she just entered the second trimester and already “feels alive again.”
The couple also decided that this would be their last child and have been cherishing every moment, which is why they decided not to find out the sex of their baby ahead of time. “You don’t race to the end because this is the last time,” she said of their decision. “So there’s a bit of joy and a little sadness. I’m really trying to enjoy it all and not try to just get through the days.”
As she prepares to welcome her newest little one, Dewan seems to have mastered that precarious balance of thriving career and growing family. Between takes, her daughter Everly can be found playing with makeup brushes while Dewan handles business like the boss she is. In an interview last August, Dewan remarked, “She’s got a great look.” Surely, Dewan will handle three kids with the same graceful aplomb as she does everything else life brings her way
