Paramount Plus Proves September is the New Fashion Week for Streaming
As summer’s final curtain call approaches, Paramount Plus refuses to let the heat die down, delivering September’s most coveted streaming lineup with the precision of a runway debut. The platform’s autumn arsenal reads like a celebrity guest list: “NCIS: Tony & Ziva” makes its stylish entrance, while Sylvester Stallone returns in Taylor Sheridan’s “Tulsa King” season three—pure small-screen luxury.
The streaming service’s September strategy mirrors high fashion’s seasonal transition—seamlessly blending nostalgic favorites with fresh, must-have content that promises to dominate cultural conversations through fall.
New on Paramount Plus in September 2025: Top picks
‘NCIS: Tony & Ziva’
The NCIS franchise is growing even bigger this month, with the premiere of “NCIS: Tony & Ziva” (starring Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, who reprise their respective roles). This new series places the titular Special Agents in the heart of the action. Ziva (once presumed dead) is living in Paris, co-parenting a daughter with her on-again, off-again lover, Tony.
When Tony’s security company is attacked, the family’s forced to go on the run, on what looks to be an action-packed journey across Europe “like a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde” (as Tony puts it in the trailer). Together, they’ll try to figure out who is out to get them… and maybe even learn to trust each other while on the road.
Premieres September 4 on Paramount Plus
‘The Wedding Banquet’
In the mood for a romantic comedy? “The Wedding Banquet” is the new-to-Paramount Plus release you’ll want to stream this September. Andrew Ahn’s 2025 remake of the Ang Lee movie of the same name introduces us to Min (Han Gi-chan).
When his boyfriend Chris (Bown Yang) rejects his wedding proposal, Min sets out to convince his best friend Angela (Kelly Marie Train) to marry him instead, paying for her wife Lee’s (Lily Gladstone) IVF treatments in exchange for his own green card. Their simple elopement plans are upended when Min’s grandmother arrives and surprises them with an extravagant Korean wedding banquet.
Premieres September 8 on Paramount Plus
‘Tulsa King’ season 3
Taylor Sheridan’s crime series is back to reunite us with Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) for a fresh dose of drama. As his empire expands, he faces greater risks, and more enemies.
Now, he faces his most dangerous foes in Tulsa yet: the Dunmires (Robert Patrick, Beau Knapp). They’re a powerful old-money family that doesn’t play by old-world rules, and crossing paths with them will force Dwight to fight for everything he’s built and to protect those he loves.
Premieres September 21 on Paramount Plus
