Eva Longoria Dazzles in Festive Red Carpet Ensemble
Eva Longoria brought holiday cheer to the 2023 Time Latino Leaders Dinner in Los Angeles last night. The Desperate Housewives star graced the red carpet in a standout sheer red design from Sergio Hudson’s Spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection. Longoria’s glamorous ensemble commanded attention with its bold color, sleek silhouette, and elegant details.
The actress posed for photographers upon arrival, showcasing her sensational style. Her long-sleeved dress featured a layered sheer construction with structured shoulders and a cheeky rear cut-out. A prim pussybow neckline and matching red belt cinched the waist, playing up Longoria’s enviable figure. She completed the ravishing red look with subtle nude heels that allowed the vibrant outfit to truly captivate.
Longoria’s beauty look aligned flawlessly with the modern mood of her fashion. Her dark tresses were swept into a neat updo, while a soft glam makeup palette included a hint of pink on the lips and smoky eyeshadow. The star accessorized minimally, allowing the scene-stealing dress to take center stage. She wore only dainty gold earrings and diamond rings as understated accents.
The exclusive gala brought together Latino trailblazers and changemakers for a night of celebration. Activist Dolores Huerta and Education Secretary Miguel Cardona numbered among the high-profile attendees, along with a special performance by country singer Frank Ray. Longoria appeared thrilled to participate in the meaningful event. She flashed smiles for photographers while mingling with guests inside the venue.
The actress has long been an advocate for Latinx representation and storytelling in Hollywood. She recently directed the film Flamin’ Hot about Richard Montañez, the janitor who invented Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. “I’ve been told ‘No you can’t do things like that.’ I think it’s a culture-defining film and something about our community. It was a love letter to the Mexican-American community, and we never get to see that in film,” Longoria told HOLA! USA.
Eva also continues to celebrate Latinx firsts, like Nicaragua’s Sheynnis Palacios being crowned Miss Universe 2022. On Instagram, the star shared her excitement over Palacios’ historic win – which marked the first for Nicaragua.
Through her fashion, filmmaking and beyond, Longoria is clearly committed to spotlighting underrepresented voices. Last night’s ravishing red carpet look certainly reflected her fiery passion.
