Christina Aguilera Dazzles in Thigh-High Boots and Crystals During Las Vegas Residency Debut
Christina Aguilera brought show-stopping style to the stage while kicking off her highly-anticipated new concert residency at The Voltaire at Las Vegas’ Venetian Resort on Saturday night. During the debut performance of the ten-part concert series, set to run through March 2024, the pop icon captivated audiences with her stellar vocals and eye-catching ensembles accented by an array of statement boots.
Clad in a shimmering royal blue bodysuit adorned with light-catching crystals layered under a sheer blue cape slit dress, Aguilera made her grand entrance in a pair of slick black leather thigh-high boots. Boasting a closed-toe silhouette and sharply pointed toes, the boots lent an edgy contrast to her futuristic, crystal-bedecked stage attire.
After wow-ing the crowd with renditions of several of her early 2000’s mega-hits, Aguilera made her first costume change of the evening, re-emerging in a bold black bodysuit with flared feather-trimmed sleeves and matching feather-accented leggings. She paired the dramatic punk-inspired look with chunky round-toe black leather boots, amping up the drama even further with sprays of feathers enveloping the shoes’ thick platform soles.
For one of her final show-stopping numbers, the statuesque songstress slipped into a minidress dripping with light-catching crystals and glossy leather gloves reaching up past her elbows. On her feet, she donned another statement-making pair of boots – this time over-the-knee black leather boots with transparent pyramid heels, putting her enviable stems fully on display.
But Aguilera wasn’t all campy lights and big smiles: she also showed off her sultrier side, bringing a bed out on stage at one point, and wearing a few bodysuit-style costumes that clearly had the singer feeling herself. We were particularly obsessed with this shiny nude one, completed with thigh-high boots, a pearl necklace, and some of the slickest, shiniest blonde hair we’ve ever seen.
Aguilera’s dazzling opening-night fashion choices set the tone for what’s sure to be an eye-popping parade of glamorous performance ensembles over the course of her Encore Theater headlining stint. With ticket prices ranging from $150 to $7,000 for VIP packages, fans can catch the pop icon performing her catalog of smash hits and vocal ballads through early March 2024.
Aguilera’s concert series at the Voltaire will feature ten shows from Dec. 30, 2023 to March 2, 2024. Previously, the singer also held a residency at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas, titled “The Experience,” from May 2019 to March 2020.Look at how happy she is!
