Celebrity Style Brings the Drama at Paris Couture Week

Haute Couture Dazzles on the Front Row Once Again

As the fashion elite gathered in Paris for the start of Haute Couture Week, all eyes were on the glamorous front row attendees bringing their own brand of drama and intrigue through their daring fashion choices. Our inner style voyeurs were certainly satiated this season, with celebrity guests serving up a sensory feast for the eyes.

Schiaparelli once again opened the week with a bang. The show kicked off SS24 on Monday and drew in a crowd that included Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya and her Euphoria costar sidekick Hunter Schafer, whilst Dior hosted Rihanna, Anya Taylor-Joy and Natalie Portman later that day – talk about starting as we mean to go on.

Model Sabina wore a fitted red maxi gown with flattering ruching and a haute hood. The creative neckline lent old world extravagance to the slinky silhouette.

Bella Thorne

Actress and singer Bella Thorne attended the Schiaparelli show in one of Daniel Roseberry’s more subdued designs from the collection – slim black trousers and a jacket with bold shoulders and metallic button accents. Topping off her contemporary cool aesthetic, Thorne donned a wide-brimmed hat for a touch of Beyoncé-approved glamour.

So did the front rows of Paris live up to last season’s histrionics? Resoundingly yes. As audiences become increasingly desensitized to overexposure, celebrities and designers feel compelled to keep raising the stakes. With headlines dominated by Schiaparelli’s anthropomorphic flourishes and Doja Cat’s show-stopping entrance, we expect this is only the beginning when it comes to the lengths creatives will go to in order to captivate our collective consciousness.
