Cara Delevingne Brings Cabaret Glamour in Pointy Heels for After-Party

The model-turned-actress made her West End debut last night as Sally Bowles in Cabaret, celebrating her first performance with an equally showstopping after-party look.

All eyes were on Cara Delevingne as she arrived at the “Cabaret At The Kit Kat Club” after-party in London. The multi-hyphenate had just taken her first bow as Sally Bowles in the new West End production, marking her musical theater debut. And she marked the occasion in quintessential Delevingne fashion – with a pair of scene-stealing high heels.

For the fete, Delevingne slipped out of her onstage getup and into an edgy yet elegant Prada ensemble from the spring 2024 collection. The look centered around an oversized black blazer with strong shoulders and a deep V-neckline that she styled as a mini dress. Coordinating the borrowed-from-the-boys blazer with ultra-femme details, she cinched it at the waist with a black leather belt and added sheer black knee-high stockings – a cheeky nod to the legwear of the Kit Kat Girls.

But the piéce de résistance was undoubtedly Delevingne’s footwear choice: a pair of simple yet stunning black pointed-toe pumps. The heels brought femininity and sophistication to her androgynous after-party outfit while still allowing her to channel the provocative spirit of Cabaret. Delevingne has long been a proponent of the pointed toe, frequently sporting the style on the red carpet and runway over the years.

In 2023, she wore towering 6-inch pointed heels during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show. And in 2015, she was snapped in a variety of pointed-toe styles, from lace-up booties to stiletto pumps. Clearly, the British It-girl knows that a good pointy heel is a must for making a lasting impression.

Delevingne’s slinky after-party pumps echoed the footwear seen in Cabaret’s iconic numbers like “Don’t Tell Mama” and “Mein Herr.” They brought a touch of onstage glamour to her offstage look, while also showing off her supermodel stems. She further amplified the drama with a sleek silver chain necklace, hoop earrings, a smoky bronze eye, and a high-shine scarlet lip.

With her pointy black heels and ensemble immortalized in the iconic production, it’s safe to say Delevingne’s Cabaret shoes will go down in fashion history. The model mogul joins a long list of stylish stars – from Liza Minnelli to Natalie Portman – who have laced up their dancing heels to bring Sally Bowles’ unorthodox spirit to life.

While Delevingne’s West End run is just beginning, her high-octane after-party look hints at the fashion-forward production value ahead. As she settles into her new role, we can’t wait to see what other scene-stealing shoe moments she has in store. This is showbiz, darling!
