Love Takes the Spotlight at the Dune: Part Two After Party
Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler brought romantic flair to the Dune: Part Two premiere after party on February 15th in London. While the genetically blessed couple kept things low key on the premiere’s red carpet, they weren’t afraid to show some PDA at the late night fete.
Held at hip venue Old Sessions House, the post-premiere bash saw Gerber and Butler walk hand-in-hand as they made their entrance. The Cindy Crawford mini-me dazzled in a body hugging gunmetal gown with delicate spaghetti straps. A gold box clutch and strappy metallic heels rounded out the 5’9 beauty’s party look. Meanwhile Butler exuded masculine chic in a black Gucci suit over a white tank, with just a simple silver chain as an accent.
The pair’s public display of affection comes on the heels of rumors that their year-long relationship was on the rocks. But their sweet behavior seems to shout that not only are they still going strong, but they aren’t afraid to show it.
Of course Butler and Gerber aren’t the only celebrity couple who packed on the PDA at the star-studded bash. Zendaya and Tom Holland also held hands upon their arrival, seeming to refute claims of their recent split. While the Spiderman costars walked separate red carpets, with Zendaya stopping the show in a robotic nude illusion gown by Mugler, they reunited at the late night fete in true Hollywood fashion.
In fact the only high profile plus one missing was Timothee Chalamet’s lady love Kylie Jenner. While the reality star-turned beauty mogul and Call Me By Your Name actor have been spotted at various events recently, Jenner was nowhere to be seen at the Dune premiere or after party. However, given the close ties between the film’s cast, perhaps we’ll see the budding couple make their red carpet debut at the 2024 Met Gala, which Zendaya will co-host.
Regardless of who was and wasn’t in attendance, it’s clear Butler and Gerber’s sweet PDA stole the spotlight. In a sea of A-list stars, their subtle yet sincere display of young love charmed everyone. The fact that Butler stars in the highly anticipated film seems almost secondary to their romantic behavior.
While Dune’s dystopian desert landscapes unfold on screen, the after party saw Butler and Gerber’s connection take center stage. No amount of Timothee Chalamet’s smoldering glances or Zendaya’s futuristic fashion could compete. In the end, love conquered all on a glamorous night in London town.
