Blue Ivy Glitters in Vivienne Westwood at the 2024 Grammys
Last night at the 2024 Grammys, held at the Crypto.com Arena, Blue Ivy made a rare public appearance when attending the Grammy Awards with her parents Jay Z and Beyoncé, on Sunday, February 4. The 12-year-old daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z made a show-stopping appearance in the audience alongside her father as he accepted the prestigious Dr. Dre Global Impact Award.
While the fashionable family opted out of walking the red carpet prior to the ceremony, Blue Ivy’s entrance was still a major moment, clad as she was in a gorgeous off-the-shoulder white midi dress by none other than legendary designer Vivienne Westwood. With its fairytale princess silhouette, the gown looked as if it had been plucked straight off a Parisian runway. Ever the budding fashion plate, Ms. Carter accessorized with a pair of high-heeled white Larroude Dolly Boots and a matching satin clutch.

As Blue Ivy accompanied her father onstage, rapper Jay-Z referred affectionately to his newly-acquired gramophone trophy as a “sippy cup” for his daughter, harkening back to a comment he made over a decade prior at the 2014 Grammys. “Blue’s grown now, she doesn’t take sippy cups,” he joked, before adding proudly that “she has her own Grammys.”
While watching admiringly from the audience, Blue Ivy’s mother Beyoncé was herself a vision in a Louis Vuitton cowboy hat and dazzling sequined blazer-and-shorts combination fresh off last month’s runway. Ever the supportive parents, both Jay-Z and Beyoncé were perfectly content to let their precocious daughter take the spotlight last night.
The 2024 Grammys appearance marks yet another high-profile fashion moment for Blue Ivy, who has been stepping out with her famous parents more frequently as of late. Last fall, she and her mother twinned in gorgeous black dresses for the London premiere of Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” tour film. And over the past few months, eagle-eyed fans have spotted Blue Ivy dancing up a storm in behind-the-scenes tour footage, showing off her impressive moves.

At just 12 years old, she already has one Grammy to her name, making her the second-youngest winner in the show’s history.
