Beyoncé White Hot in Amina Muaddi Platforms to Celebrate Cécred Launch
Queen Bey arrived at the star-studded Cécred launch party in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, embracing the all-white dress code in a striking Prabal Gurung look from the designer’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The ensemble featured a corseted one-shoulder top, high-waisted wide-leg trousers, and a breezy parachute jacket, perfectly suited for a warm California evening. Still, the highlight of Beyoncé’s party outfit was the pair of towering Amina Muaddi white patent leather platforms adorning her feet.
The shoes, aptly named the Begum Glass Heels, featured a sharp pointed-toe, a thin ankle strap, and an architectural 5.9-inch plateau heel crafted from glossy white patent leather. Retailing for $1,335, the striking platforms added the perfect punctuation to Bey’s angelic party look. While white footwear can be tricky to style for the average fashionista, leave it to Queen Bey to pull off the all-white palette from head-to-toe with elegance and ease.
This isn’t the first time Mrs. Carter has been spotted in Amina Muaddi’s signature heel designs. Beyoncé wore the Begum Pumps in a high-shine chrome to the Roc Nation pre-Grammy brunch back in January, along with a slinky white gown by Peter Dundas featuring sculptural chrome accents. The metallic platforms perfectly mirrored the futuristic feel of the dress.
Likewise, at the 2024 Grammy Awards last month, Bey donned a pair of sharp stiletto Begum Heels in black patent leather featuring the brand’s signature 6-inch heel, pointed toe and thin ankle strap accented by a petite gold buckle.
It’s clear that when it comes to show-stopping footwear, Amina Muaddi has become one of Beyoncé’s go-to designers as of late. And for good reason — the Paris-based shoemaker’s creations epitomize bold femininity and striking silhouette. Much like Queen Bey herself.
And speaking of bold femininity, Beyoncé was celebrating the launch of her new haircare brand, Cécred, at Tuesday’s star-studded bash. The highly anticipated collection titled “The Foundation” includes shampoos, conditioners, treatments, oils and tools, ranging in price from $20 to $52.
“I’m honored to bring you a new luxury haircare brand that’s been years in the making,” shared Beyoncé in an Instagram video revealing the launch. “I wanted to create something that was truly representative of the beauty that exists inside all textures and all tones.”
Judging by the perfectly coiffed celeb guests in attendance at Tuesday’s launch event, Cécred is destined to become a mainstay on vanities around the world. The Queen has spoken. All hail the chief!
