Mirror Ball on the Move: DWTS Unveils 74-Date Tour Featuring Val and Jenna’s Long-Awaited Return

Darlings, clear your calendars and dust off your dancing shoes—the ballroom is about to go mobile. In news that has sent sequin-clad shockwaves through the entertainment world, Dancing With the Stars has just unveiled plans for an ambitious 74-date live tour that promises to bring all the glitz, glamour, and gravity-defying lifts directly to theaters across America. Entertainment Weekly dropped this exclusive bombshell as Season 34 continues to captivate audiences, and honestly, we’re already mentally coordinating our tour wardrobes.

The cross-country extravaganza launches January 22, 2026, in Akron, Ohio, before embarking on a nearly five-month odyssey that culminates May 2 in Salt Lake City. The stellar lineup reads like a who’s who of ballroom royalty: Brandon Armstrong, Alan Bersten, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Jenna Johnson, Daniella Karagach, Pasha Pashkov, Emma Slater, Ezra Sosa, Britt Stewart, and Hailey Bills will all be commanding stages from coast to coast.

Emmy Award-winning choreographer Mandy Moore—the visionary behind La La Land and Taylor Swift’s record-shattering Eras Tour—returns to direct and choreograph this spectacular production. Expect a tantalizing blend of Season 34’s most unforgettable routines alongside brand-new performances crafted exclusively for the live experience. This isn’t merely a greatest-hits compilation; it’s an entirely reimagined celebration of ballroom artistry.

Perhaps most thrillingly, the 2026 tour marks the first time in five years that married professional dancers Val and Jenna will perform together for the entire tour duration. The power couple spoke exclusively about their return to the road, and their enthusiasm is absolutely infectious.

“We took a moment to have a child and enjoy our off season,” Chmerkovskiy shares with characteristic humor. “But man, what a treat to be back on the road and to do it at a time when the show is in its peak again and experiencing this incredible renaissance with a whole new audience. I’m very excited to get out on the road.”

For these elite dancers, the tour represents something profoundly different from their television experience—a chance for unfiltered, intimate connection. “The judges aren’t there to distract us from the important things,” Val quips, before turning serious. “Tour is different because we have this real intimate, personal, direct interactions. It’s incredibly rewarding because I love performing on the show and finding camera, but there’s nothing like finding real eyes, real fans, real people all over the country.”

Johnson eloquently articulates what makes the tour so special for the professional dancers themselves. “We are elite at what we do, and to have the opportunity to dance with each other, and really exercise our choreography and our brains, it’s such a treat for us,” she reflects. “We prioritize the celebrities during the season and the tour is an opportunity for the pros to do what we do best. It’s such a creative space.”

The tour holds particular significance for Johnson, who will perform in her hometown of Salt Lake City for the first time with the DWTS cast. “It will be very exciting to be able to perform for my family and my friends back home,” she reveals. “What an amazing opportunity to be able to do that.”
