Mel B Brings Fierce Animal Prints and Sky-High Heels to NYC
The one and only Scary Spice brought undeniable glamour to the streets of New York City this week. Mel B, known for her show-stopping looks, did not disappoint as she made the rounds promoting her new memoir, Brutally Honest. The singer served look after look in an array of leopard print ensembles paired with stilettos that demanded attention.
For her appearance on the Tamron Hall Show on Monday, the former Spice Girl was spotted arriving in a statement-making leopard catsuit by Philipp Plein. The bold halter-neck number clung to her curves and revealed just a peek of her toned midriff. Mel amped up the wild factor by throwing on a luxurious long black fur coat. But the pièce de résistance was her pair of chrome gold pumps, also by Philipp Plein, that elongated her legs and added a touch of rock ‘n’ roll edge.
The next day, Mel doubled down on the leopard when arriving at the Drew Barrymore Show studios. This time she donned a floor-sweeping leopard print trench coat that moved like liquid gold as she strode confidently in those same vertiginous metallic heels. Her glam makeup and big hoops perfectly complemented the diva-worthy look.
For her exit later that day, the pop icon switched it up ever so slightly by trading the trench for a skintight leopard jumpsuit. With a pattern that could have come straight from the rainforest, this number flaunted her gym-honed physique. Mel accessorized with leopard print nails, oversized shades, and of course, those beloved stilettos that have become her NYC uniform.
The “Wannabe” hitmaker showed no signs of putting her wildest foot forward, sporting another leopard look on Monday. This time spotted in thigh-high Kobra Love boots by Philipp Plein in her signature fierce print. The pointed-toe, patent leather boots added sheer sexy dominatrix vibes to her street style.
While Spice Girl fans were left disappointed as the lineup for Glastonbury was unveiled and there was no sign of the iconic girl band. However, Mel gave fans hope for a reunion when she was interviewed by Hoda and Jenna on the Today show this week.
From beginning to end, Mel’s NYC promo tour was a masterclass in how to make an entrance. By fully committing to the leopard print trend and rocking those vertigo-inducing heels, she reminded everyone why she’s an icon to be reckoned with. Consider us intimidated…and obsessed.
