Zendaya Dons Sculptural Ala\u00efa for Dune: Part 2 Promo Tour<\/p>\n

As the promo tour for the highly-anticipated sci-fi sequel Dune: Part 2 kicks off, lead actress Zendaya captivated in Paris wearing one of the most structural silhouettes from Ala\u00efa’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The 27-year-old trailblazing style star, known for taking fashion risks that pay off, posed in front of the Eiffel Tower donning the white wool bandeau dress featuring Ala\u00efa’s signature cut-outs along the torso and a dramatic asymmetrical skirt with thigh-high slit.<\/p>\n

The white dress included a light-as-air high-low skirt that fell to the floor to create a mini train. She finished the fro-yo fashion with a pair of pointy white pumps and skipped out on a necklace, leaving her collarbones and shoulders bare. She pushed her hair back to reveal bare ears, too, offering absolutely nothing to take away from the sculptural swoop of her dress.<\/p>\n

Crafted using the meticulous techniche alto moda merging process developed by creative director Pieter Mulier, the striking dress required over a year to produce yet takes mere seconds to attract attention. “I mean, we did va-va-voom for two-and-a-half years, and I still love it, but it’s not the moment where the world is now,” Mulier explained of his current stripped-back but still sensual approach. “It’s less sexualized, but still sensual.”<\/p>\n

And Zendaya, a long-time Ala\u00efa muse whose ever-evolving style brilliantly marries nostalgic glamour with an avant-garde edge, is the perfect ambassador for this new chapter. Letting the architectural dress take center stage by skipping jewelry and sweeping her hair into a ballerina bun, her glowy complexion and natural makeup palette further spotlighted the artwork enveloping her enviable frame.<\/p>\n

Joining Zendaya on the Parisian promo tour was her Dune co-star and reported beau Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet, who plays her on-screen love interest Paul Atreides. Clad in a fitted black turtleneck, chocolate leather pants, and tinted sunglasses, Chalamet cut a striking silhouette beside his leading lady as the fashionable pair build anticipation for the March 1st premiere.<\/p>\n

Set to pick up where the first left off after the murder of nearly all of Paul Atreides’ family, Dune: Part Two will follow Paul, his mother Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson), and new love Chani as they ally with planet Arrakis’ native Fremen tribe to seek revenge against the vicious Harkonnens.
