Taylor Swift Makes a Bold Black-and-White Statement in Giuseppe Zanotti Heels at the 2024 Grammys<\/p>\n

Gliding along the red carpet at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday evening, Taylor Swift<\/a> embodied her “Reputation” era aesthetic in a dramatic black-and-white ensemble. The superstar songstress arrived at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena in a custom ivory silk satin gown by Schiaparelli, which featured a sweetheart neckline, corseted bodice, and full taffeta skirt. Amping up the drama even further, Swift donned elbow-length black leather opera gloves and a chunky gold padlock necklace for a subtle punk edge.<\/p>\n

But the crowning glory of Swift’s look was her shoes: black peep-toe platform pumps by none other than footwear maestro Giuseppe Zanotti<\/a>. With their soaring 4-inch stiletto heels, the shoes added height and attitude to Swift’s angelic gown. It seems platform pumps are becoming something of a signature red carpet style for the singer; she wore a similar sky-high pair by Zanotti to the London premiere of “Renaissance: A Film by Beyonc\u00e9<\/a>” last November.<\/p>\n

Indeed, Swift has a long-running relationship with Zanotti’s designs. The Italian cobbler has crafted custom heels for several of Swift’s tours and appearances over the last decade. Though she is friends with many major designers, Zanotti’s vertiginous, statement-making creations seem to resonate uniquely with the star’s aesthetic. And based on her scene-stealing look last night, we suspect their creative partnership is far from over.<\/p>\n

Swift’s fashion for the evening was orchestrated by her longtime stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer, who outfitted the singer in Gucci at last month’s Golden Globes. Falconer is the mastermind behind the looks for Swift’s record-breaking “The Eras Tour,” so he understands precisely how to craft styles which channel her musical evolution. By combining Ceruti’s ethereal gown with Zanotti’s darker details, Faloner juxtaposed Swift’s softer, more romantic recent era with the edgier elements of her past for a beautifully balanced dichotomy.<\/p>\n
