Rappers Engage in Heated Exchange Over Diss Tracks<\/p>\n

The hip hop community was set ablaze this week as an ongoing feud between rap titans Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion reached new heights. Mere days after Stallion released her latest empowering yet controversial single \u201cHiss,\u201d Minaj fired back with an incendiary diss track of her own entitled \u201cBig Foot\u201d – a direct attack on the Houston native and her personal life.<\/p>\n

In signature, no-holds-barred fashion, Minaj inhabits her aggressive alter ego Roman as she lyrically assaults Stallion – mocking her over the traumatic shooting she endured in 2020 as well as the loss of her beloved mother. \u201cSwearin\u2019 on your dead mother when you lie,\u201d taunts Minaj, later adding, \u201cShots thrown, but I still ain\u2019t let Megan score.\u201d She goes on to bash Stallion\u2019s rapping abilities in addition to accusing her of dishonesty.<\/p>\n

The feud seems to stem from Stallion\u2019s track \u201cHiss,\u201d released last Friday, which takes aim at unnamed detractors. Fans have speculated one biting line references Minaj\u2019s husband Kenneth Petty\u2019s status as a registered sex offender. Minaj took to social media shortly after its debut to share a snippet of her retaliatory song, announcing \u201cBig Foot\u201d by name – a derisive play on Stallion\u2019s nearly six-foot stature.<\/p>\n

Over the weekend, Minaj tweeted heavily about\u00a0her beef\u00a0with the\u00a0Traumazine\u00a0<\/em>rapper and made sure to let her feelings about Megan\u2019s song be known. Though the roots of their discord date back further, the feud hit its latest apex with the release of \u201cHISS.\u201d On it, Megan raps the line, \u201cThese hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law. I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start.”<\/p>\n

While the roots of their quarrel remain vague, tensions have clearly reached a boiling point. Stallion has continued teasing her smash single across platforms, avoiding direct mention of adversaries. Meanwhile Minaj shows no signs of backing down the assault, taunting \u201cThis lil\u2019 beggar w—- talkin\u2019 \u2018bout Megan\u2019s law\u201d and promising further attacks.<\/p>\n

Some also speculate that Megan\u2019s decision to work with Cardi B on \u201cWAP\u201d might have been seen as a slight toward Minaj\u00a0due to the history between Minaj and Cardi B, two New York rappers\u00a0whose rocky relationship culminated in an infamous fight at the\u00a0Harper\u2019s Bazaar <\/em>Icons party in 2018.<\/p>\n

The two talents previously collaborated on the 2019 runaway hit \u201cHot Girl Summer,\u201d leaving fans distraught over their blistering falling out. However, both maintain fervent supporter bases and continue dominating airwaves.
