On the first day of 2024, the Russian beauty took to Instagram to unveil her New Year’s Eve ensemble: a scene-stealing Nara sequined feather mini dress by Retro f\u00eate that embodied festive fabulousness. Shirring, fringe, and beadwork gave the dress plenty of eye-catching texture and movement as Shayk frolicked on the beach in a series of photos and videos. Its plunging neckline and thigh-skimming hem showed off the model\u2019s enviable figure as she splashed in the surf, the sea breeze sweeping her dark locks behind her.<\/p>\n

Of course, no party-ready look is complete without a pair of haute heels. Shayk\u2019s strappy nude sandals elongated her legs without distracting from the glitzy dress. Shayk\u2019s beaded bombshell moment comes on the heels of her refreshingly honest December 2022 Harper\u2019s Bazaar cover story, in which she discussed the impossible standards imposed on models. \u201cShe\u2019s not skinny, she\u2019s too sexy, she\u2019s never going to be a model,\u201d critics allegedly told her early in her career. But Shayk refused to bend to expectations. \u201cI was always like, \u2018No, I\u2019m not going to do that. I\u2019m not going to lose 10 pounds,\u2019\u201d she asserted.<\/p>\n

Now at the height of her powers in her mid-thirties, the famously private star opened up about the constant juggling act required of single working mothers. \u201cWe don’t have a nanny, so between trying to run my career, cook, clean, dress my daughter, bring her to school, and do all the mom stuff, I have no time for people’s opinions,\u201d she confessed, referring to the daughter she shares with ex Bradley Cooper.
