A Star-Studded Soir\u00e9e: Mindy Kaling and More Attend VIP Night of ChainFEST<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On a balmy Los Angeles evening, the stars aligned for the VIP preview night of ChainFEST, the annual festival celebrating all things chains and connectors. Leading the celebrity pack was the always fashion-forward Mindy Kaling, who brought her signature bold style to the red carpet. Clad in a vampy all-black ensemble of leather trench coat, velvet minidress, and sultry thigh-high boots, Ms. Kaling proved her sartorial savvy, mixing textures and fabrics with aplomb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ever the purveyor of chic contrast, Ms. Kaling paired her dress and coat with creamy knee-high boots that lent a dollop of innocence to the look. Her boots sported a stacked heel of roughly three inches, stitch detail, and buttery leather uppers. Aeyde, 3.1 Phillip Lim and PrettyLittleThing offer similar styles for that leg-lengthening look. Meanwhile, the minidress highlighted the multi-hyphenate talent\u2019s enviable curves in a LBD like only she can pull off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Kaling joined a glittering array of celebrities who brought their best festival fashion. Actor and model Patrick Schwarzenegger went the smart-casual route in an Amiri Western plaid jacket, white tee and sneakers. The outfit proved an effortlessly suave choice from the \u201cGen-V\u201d star. Fashion darling Kiernan Shipka channeled black magic vibes in a black cardigan dress paired with – you guessed it – knee high boots, only hers were the deepest shade of night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trio of stars strutted their stuff at a preview event celebrating all the food, fun and surprises in store over ChanFEST weekend. The annual gourmet chain food festival runs only a single weekend, but involves a whopping 20,000 square footage packed with games, activities, and exclusive epicurean experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Festival executive director Tamra Plakson commented, \u201cWe couldn\u2019t ask for more stunning opening night guests. Mindy, Patrick and Kiernan really capture the essence of ChainFEST with their bold individual styles.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As opening night VIPs, Ms. Kaling, Mr. Schwarzenegger and Ms. Shipka enjoyed select tastings while rubbing elbows with other stylish celebrities.
