Kate Upton Commands the ‘Shoe Oscars’ Red Carpet in Glamorous Gown and Statement Heels<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supermodel Kate Upton brought old Hollywood glamour to the red carpet at Footwear News’ annual Achievement Awards last night. Attending alongside husband Justin Verlander, the blonde bombshell graced the ‘Shoe Oscars’ in a show-stopping black satin gown with a plunging neckline and dramatic slit. But it was her strappy black stilettos that really stole the spotlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“My first pair of shoes upon arriving in New York was a pair of Sam Edelman boots,” Upton remarked while presenting the brand’s founders with a Lifetime Achievement award. “My reliable companions for work, castings and countless adventures.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having fronted campaigns for Sam Edelman over the years, Upton selected a pair of the label’s signature barely-there pumps to complement her glitzy ensemble. With their sultry crisscross straps and pin-thin stiletto heels, the shoes added a healthy dose of va-va-voom to Upton’s red carpet look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, Upton is no stranger to making a splash at high-profile events. The former Sports Illustrated cover girl has racked up her fair share of head-turning magazine covers and blockbuster films. And at just 31 years old, she’s also an entrepreneur and mother of two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last night, all eyes were on the legendary model as she swept into the star-studded FN Achievement Awards with the poise and polish of an old pro. Flowing blonde waves, statement earrings and a dazzling smile completed her effortless glamour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presenting the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award to footwear legends Sam and Libby Edelman, Upton remarked on her long-standing relationship with the brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Imagine how excited I was in 2013 when they asked me to be a part of the campaign that started as a photo shoot and evolved into a terrific collaboration spanning three campaigns,” she shared. “It was more than work. It was a shared passion for creativity and excellence.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The admiration is clearly mutual, with Sam Edelman returning the praise on their award-winning evening saying, “Kate, you are forever our muse.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Judging by last night’s show-stopping turn, Upton continues to take red carpet glamour and model-off-duty style in her sky-high stride. Whether dressed to the nines or running weekend errands, stunning footwear remains an integral part of her enviable wardrobe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
