Accepting the statuette to roaring applause, Jordan opened simply but powerfully: \u201cGod is good. He becomes the sixth Black actor to take home the Best Actor trophy, joining an extraordinary list that includes Sidney Poitier, Denzel Washington, Jamie Foxx, Forest Whitaker and Will Smith.
