The queen of the catwalk has reclaimed her throne. Linda Evangelista, one of the original supermodels who ruled the runways in the late 80s and 90s, made a stylish return to the public eye this week, proving her fashion reign is far from over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attending the WSJ Magazine 2022 Innovator Awards on Wednesday night, the 58-year-old modeled a look that exuded her signature elegance and flair. Opting for a crisp winter white turtleneck and sleek black blazer with matching wide-leg trousers, Evangelista embodied sophisticated chic. With her auburn locks styled straight and sleek, a nod to the fierce coifs of the power suit-clad working women of the 80s, and a dazzling pair of earrings providing a subtle touch of sparkle, the supermodel looked as though she had stepped right out of the decade that launched her to fame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She may have traded in some skyscraper stilettos for more sensible lifts, but Linda Evangelista<\/a> still knows how to walk the walk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the Canadian stunner has largely shied away from the spotlight in recent years, this marked her triumphant return to the public arena following a period of self-described ‘hiding.’ After alleging that she suffered physical side effects from a cosmetic procedure gone wrong, Evangelista is now re-emerging on the scene, celebrating herself and her storied career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I’m totally in celebration mode,” she told WSJ Magazine ahead of the event, adding, “I’m at a place where I’m so happy celebrating my book, my life. I’m so happy to be alive.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
