The design duo of Philippe and David Blond channeled early 2000s pop princess Britney Spears as a key reference, resulting in an enchanting display of glitz, drama and fantasy brought to life on the runway. According to David Blond, the show was envisioned as “two shows in one” – the first half evoking cosmic, gladiator vibes before segueing into ultra-feminine, princess-worthy looks inspired by Britney herself. Britney’s iconic early aughts style served as a sparkling through line.<\/p>\n

The shoes, as usual, were true showstoppers. This season’s Christian Louboutin heels for The Blonds featured towering 6-inch stilettos, platform soles, and dazzling adornments from swirling spikes to rainbow crystals. Sheer paneling on select booties and pumps created the dazzling effect of feet encased in jewels. Each pair perfectly complemented the collection’s bejeweled bodysuits, corsets and cropped tops.<\/p>\n
