After years of jet-setting between their multiple homes, Bezos appears to have popped the question earlier this year during a holiday in the South of France aboard his superyacht Koru. Ever the billionaire, his proposal came with a cushion-cut pink diamond ring valued around $2.5 million.
The ultra-private couple offered a glimpse into their romance last month at an engagement party hosted by media moguls Barry Diller and Diane von Furstenberg. In a rare public display, the pair radiated joy and affection.
However, the afterglow dimmed shortly after images from Bezos and Sanchez’s glamorous Vogue shoot surfaced online. While the photos exuded the couple’s passion, critics on social media were less enthused by the stylistic choices.
One particular image sparked debate: a shirtless Bezos, biceps flexed, embraces Sanchez as she gazes up adoringly. His cowboy hat and jeans evoked mockery from netizens, who questioned the wardrobe selections.
“How much did he pay y’all to engorge his bicep,” commented one user. Another snarked, “I’d like to cancel the subscription to my eyes.”
The outfits also drew unfavorable comparisons to rival tech billionaire Elon Musk’s signature eccentric style. One tweet read, “Why does only ELON make stuff like that, COOL?”
