The ton has descended upon the charming town of Bowral in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales for the Australian premiere of Bridgerton season 3. Leading the sartorial charge were breakout stars Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton, whose characters Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton take center stage this season in a highly-anticipated friends-to-lovers storyline.
Coughlan, ever the modern style icon, stunned on the red carpet in a black sequined off-the-shoulder gown from Monique Lhuillier’s Fall 2023 collection. The mesmerizing dress featured a plunging sweetheart neckline, fitted bodice, and dramatic trumpet skirt dripping in shimmering embellishments.
The Irish actress complemented the opulent look with dangling crystal earrings, smoky eye makeup, and her signature blonde tresses styled in effortless waves. Towering black satin pumps from Stuart Weitzman’s iconic styles elevated the glamorous ensemble.

In keeping with true Bridgerton spirit, the friends and co-stars also playfully bantered about their families possibly watching this steamier season. “My mom watched some of the show recently and skipped a whole sizeable chunk of it to avoid the sex scenes,” Coughlan revealed with a laugh. “But maybe if you give Nan like a Baileys beforehand, then maybe she’d be fine.”
